Here's what's happening at Woodmen Hills!

General Park Reminders

With nicer weather headed our way, please be considerate while using our parks, trails, and open spaces:

·         All pets must be on a leash.

·         No gas motorized vehicles. Per CO Statue, class I & II e-bikes are allowed on concrete paths.

·         Do not plant, build, or modify anything on public property. This includes forts, burying animals, and planting trees.

·         Please refrain from using foul language. Our parks are surrounded by homes, please respect your neighbors.

Reminder: Balcon Park Rules

To help keep our facilities safe and in great condition for everyone, please remember the following rules when using the artificial turf:

·         No motorized vehicles — this includes e-bikes, scooters, and pit bikes

·         No pets allowed on the turf

·         No glass containers permitted

·         Permits are required for all non-Woodmen Hills athletic teams — this includes both practices and games

Group Swim Lessons

Saturdays. Ages 6 months-12 years. $40 for residents, $50 for non-residents.

Make a splash this summer with our Group Swim Lessons—perfect for ages 6 months to 12 years, with classes tailored to age and ability, all for just $40/month for residents and $50 for non-residents! Dive in for four fun-filled Saturday sessions each month and build water confidence, skills, and smiles!

Pickleball Club

Monday, Wednesday, Friday. All ages.

Intermediate: 7:00am-9:00am

Beginner/Recreation: 9:00am-11:00am

Location: 9048 Kingston Heath Rd.

Serve up some fun and join our Pickleball Club—open to all ages for just $5/residents and $8/non-residents! Meet us at the courts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Intermediate play from 7:00–9:00 AM and Beginner/Recreational from 9:00–11:00 AM. Whether you're just getting started or ready to rally, there's a spot for you—come play!

Country Swing Dance Classes

Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, and Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 6:00pm-7:00pm. ALL AGES. $25/individual, $40/couple, and $60/family (3+).

Location: Community Center West (11720 Woodmen Hills Dr.)

Join us for four fun-filled evenings of Country Swing Dance Classes on June 10, 17, 24, and July 1 from 6:00–7:00 PM—open to all ages with pricing at $25/individual, $40/couple, and $60/family (3–6 people), and kids welcome with a parent or guardian!

Youth T-ball League

First Practices: Week of June 16, 2025. First Game: Saturday, June 21, 2025. Ages 3-8. $70/residents and $85/non-residents.

Location: Balcon Park: 9048 Kingston Heath Rd.

Step up to the plate and join the fun in our T-Ball League for ages 3–8! Practices start the week of June 16, with the first game on Saturday, June 21—just $70 for residents, $84 for non-residents, and $20 for a jersey. Don’t miss this chance to hit, run, and have a ball this summer!

Summer Swimming Camp

Tuesday, May 27, 2025- Friday, May 30, 2025. Ages 5-14. $100/participant.

Session 1: Ages 5-9 (8:30am-11:30am)

Session 2: Ages 10-14 (1:00pm-4:00pm)

Location: Recreation Center East: 9205 Meridian Ranch Blvd.

Join us for Swimming Camp at Balcon Park, May 27–30, for just $10/child! Kids ages 4–8 swim from 8:30–11:30 AM and ages 9–14 from 1:00–4:00 PM, with daily activities including two 40-minute swim lessons, a 20-minute safety lesson, water games, and snack time—don’t miss the wave!

Summer Basketball Fundamentals Camp

Every Monday and Wednesday in June. Ages 6-15. $135/participant.

Session 1: Ages 6-10 (1:30pm-3:30pm)

Session 2: Ages 11-15 (3:30pm-5:30pm)

Summer Chess Camp
